 Welcome to Style Groovaz Crew's page! Click on the buttons to navigate the website The Family  Republic Polytechnic’s Hip Hop IG is made up of Republicans who share a common passion for Hip Hop Dance. Be it B-boying (also known as Break-Dancing) or hip hop dance moves, the IG has wowed the school with a wide range of dance moves since 2004. What sets the IG apart from the other dance crews is its primary focus on B-boying. The IG hopes to offer opportunities for passionate individuals who put in their best shot for what they believe in. Friday's Welcome Tea Party! / Freshies Meeting / Class
Welcome Tea Party Here are the details for your Welcome Tea Party which is held this Friday, 3/6. Time: 2pm Venue: TRCC Dance Studio 2 Our Welcome Tea Party is a Pot Luck! So bring along food and/or drinks! Tell Marissa via SMS or on the SGC Facebook Group page what you are bringing by Thursday, 2/6, @ 12pm. Please note that EVERYONE(Freshies/Juniors/Seniors/Alumni) has to bring at least something for the Welcome Tea Party. Freshies Meeting All Freshies are to meet Muz tomorrow, 1/6, for a COMPULSORY meeting about IG matters. Time: 5.30pm Venue: TRCC Dance Studio 1 Friday's Hip Hop Class Hey Freshies! Momentum 2011 Stage Run
There will be a full dress rehearsal for Momentum 2011 tomorrow, Thursday(26/5). Momentum Launch and LEAPS
Don't forget to catch the Momentum launch performances at South Agora at 4:30pm today! Performances by Luminiq, Flair Brothers, Fantastic Forze, etc. Also head down to TRCC, Dance Studio 1, for LEAPS at 5:30pm! LEAPS is a platform which allow young/new choreographers to showcase what they've got! Friday's Momentum Practice / Monday's Momentum Preview
Practice We'll be having a COMPULSORY Momentum practice this Friday to prepare for 100% preview. Time: 5pm - 10:45pm Venue: Studio 2 Preview Our 100% preview with costumes is on Monday(16/5). Costumes for preview: 1st Item Hip Hop - Red/Orange/Yellow tee, jeans and white shoes Bboy - White singlet with Red/Orange/Yellow Hawaiian shirt, half cut jeans 2nd Item Waacking - You guys settle among the waackers! :) 3rd Item Boys - White long sleeve tee or formal shirt, jeans Girls - White dress or White formal shirt/White long sleeve tee with skirt 4th Item Blue/Green/White tee with jeans *colors will be allocated to each dancer during Friday's practice* If you can't make it for practice on Friday, please inform Muz with a valid reason. AUDITION RESULTS 2011!
HEY FRESHIES!! AUDITION RESULTS ARE FINALLY OUTTTTTT! :) The results are placed according to the audition days. For those in Day 1, please see your pictures below as we had trouble finding your student IDs. We are so sorry to the Day 1 Auditionees for the inconvenience. Audition week
Please check the blog and/or your webmail on Tuesday(10/5) for the results. If you get through the 1st audition, there will be a 2-day-1-night camp in school on the following Saturday and Sunday(14/5 - 15/5), which is the 2nd audition.
