 Welcome to Style Groovaz Crew's page! Click on the buttons to navigate the website The Family  Republic Polytechnic’s Hip Hop IG is made up of Republicans who share a common passion for Hip Hop Dance. Be it B-boying (also known as Break-Dancing) or hip hop dance moves, the IG has wowed the school with a wide range of dance moves since 2004. What sets the IG apart from the other dance crews is its primary focus on B-boying. The IG hopes to offer opportunities for passionate individuals who put in their best shot for what they believe in. TV Programme Filming Request (Full details)
Details " Greetings! We are a Singaporean TV production company, Ochre Pictures. Currently, we are producing a science and technology documentary, titled “Super Science 2”. We would like to seek your assistance. We would like to feature the Republic Poly Hip Hop IG, in our show.
Story Angle A*Star Institute of Infocomm Research, has developed a virtual dance programme, called Dance! 3D. A user gets to dance with a computer avatar. The avatar is able to respond with similar dance steps, in very life-like ways. Its almost like dancing with a human. Your Kind Assistance Needed We would like to feature 3-4 of your crew members. Here are the scenes we would like to film. · The crew members practising their dance steps, in your usual dance practice area. · The crew members using Dance! 3D · Interview with them, on what they think of Dance! 3D Filming Details It is likely to be on 18th March. Filming should take about half a day, although we will try to keep it as short as possible. We will try to arrange with you a timing and date that’s suitable for you.

This half-hour documentary aims to engage the common man on the street, while educating him on how this breakthrough discovery will impact his life. SS2 will give the audience an entertaining walkthrough of how the technology originated, and and pay tribute to the engineering and research team responsible for it. Countries in the line-up include Japan, India, Australia, China and Singapore.

Momentum Update
The information about Momentum 2011 is as followed: Our item is called Emotions of Seasons. What is our concept? We are basically going to express different emotions through the four seasons; Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. We will be using student choreographers: Raizal: Hip Hop/ Waacking Fara: Contemporary Abang: Lyrical Muz: Bboy/ Lyrical Momentum practices will be every Wednesday when it officially starts. The choreographers will inform you if you have been chosen for their specific genres. Chalet Update Those who have yet to pay Fara the $5 for the chalet, including current and alumni members, please do so ASAP. FYI: Since Kaiying is heading for her attatchment soon, I was chosen to replace her for the time being.
