Click on the buttons to navigate the website The Family  Republic Polytechnic’s Hip Hop IG is made up of Republicans who share a common passion for Hip Hop Dance. Be it B-boying (also known as Break-Dancing) or hip hop dance moves, the IG has wowed the school with a wide range of dance moves since 2004. What sets the IG apart from the other dance crews is its primary focus on B-boying. The IG hopes to offer opportunities for passionate individuals who put in their best shot for what they believe in. Juste Debout Singapore 2011
Juste Debout Singapore 2011 is happening on 22nd January & probably one of the biggest scale event in Singapore so far. About JD: Juste Debout Singapore was born 6 months ago and was 'given birth' by the wonderful man, Tan Zhi Ming. We are the 3rd Asian country to be part of Juste Debout, after Japan & China. Though having a young & relatively small local dance scene, Zhi Ming & team are motivated to bring this international dance platform to Singapore. Our main aim is to expose Singaporeans to this street culture shared amongst countries worldwide & to also unite our dance scene. Under one roof, we hope all dancers learn the street knowledge, meet overseas dancers & respect our differences! So here we are, part of their Juste Debout World Tour this year which also marks their 10th anniversary! Juste Debout started in France by Bruce Ykanji (who is also our emcee) and in 2002 he wanted to attract US dancers to the event for French dancers who cannot afford to travel there, to understand & develop Hip Hop in France. Juste Debout Singapore team wants to retain the real notion of this event : International Dance Meeting. We want to create the opportunity for dancers to mingle, share our knowledge & learn from one another. Most importantly, being the host country, we need the full support from all the dancers to represent ourselves at Juste Debout Singapore. Last but not least, tickets are selling @ $25. For all tertiary school dance clubs, 10% discount will be given for every 50 tickets purchased! Kindly collate the numbers by Wednesday (19/1) so we can set aside the tickets for your club. SP Dance concert: WAVES15
Hello everyone! SDZ will be having their production this year! let's all go support them! I be talking orders from you guys so if you want tickets please let me know if you are interested . Singapore Poly Dance Club, Strictly Dance Zone (SDZ) Presents: Waves 15, an annual dance concert put up together by their three different genres (Hip-Hop, Modern and B-boy). This show aims to portray the flipside to being a dancer, on top of the presumed and incessantly commercialized glitz and glamour. In an increasingly concentrated world of dancers and couch dancers alike, the struggles are aplenty with competition, personal hardships and social stigma. Step into the bittersweet world of an SDZ dancer and you might just find yourself being able to relate, dancer or not. Shout out to everyone for R presenting and Danz!
We finally have made it through for R Presenting and Danz! I understand that most of us have committed so much of our time and we have been training so hard recently . Thanks for our committee member and choreographer who help up in R presenting and also for the freshies who have been working on R presenting! Also thanks to wanling who have been helping us out for danz! Special thanks for NRA who have gave us an opportunity to work with them! Let's continue to work hard and bring SGC to next level! Coming up next will be momentum 2011!! Danz people Please bring all the gloves and jacket and return to Jonathan by Friday !
