Click on the buttons to navigate the website The Family  Republic Polytechnic’s Hip Hop IG is made up of Republicans who share a common passion for Hip Hop Dance. Be it B-boying (also known as Break-Dancing) or hip hop dance moves, the IG has wowed the school with a wide range of dance moves since 2004. What sets the IG apart from the other dance crews is its primary focus on B-boying. The IG hopes to offer opportunities for passionate individuals who put in their best shot for what they believe in. MUSE schedule for this whole week
Sorry for the late update. Firstly, MUSE song is updated and will be using this! There shall be no other changes already! Monday: - Eat before 5pm - Meet 5pm at Studio - Blocking starts at 5:30pm - Full run will be at 1,200 Theatre. - Everything should ends at 10pm Tuesday: - (Those not inside opening) Meet 4:30pm at dressing room - Full dress rehearsal will be at 1,200 Theatre - Full run starts at 7pm - Everything should ends at 9:30pm - During 4:30 to 7pm if there is no runs on stage, we will be doing practices Wednesday: - (those not inside Reflections opening) meet 5pm at E4 - Everything should ends before 10:30pm if pace is smooth - Will be cleaning up everything and doing runs - BRING: Adidas shirt - To-do: Touch-up boom box, Adidas shirt Thursday: - (those not inside Reflections opening) meet 6pm at E4 - Everything should ends before 10:30pm if pace is smooth Friday: - Report at 2:45pm, finale blocking 3-3:30pm - Report at 4:30pm , backstage - Prepare, make-up, eat and settle everything before 6pm - Briefing is at 6:30pm - House opens at 7:30pm. Show starts at 8pm - Bring: hairspray, hair pins, hair bands, wax, needed accessories... Thirdly, MUSE tickets is still on sales! $10 per person! Payment and order be in latest this Tuesday! We're supposed to sell max 150 tickets! 22 more to go!! Please note: * Attendance compulsory for ALL. Muse is this Friday, and there might be slight changes in between items, so please be present. * $1 per hour FINE will start as for today onwards to those who are late after expected timing. * Practices will be treated strictly from today onwards Any changes regarding meeting venue, timing, will be made within this post. In general...
MAIN bboy dancers & Waackers Tuesday 5pm meet Meow at E4. She'll be leaving at 7pm sharp so please don't be late unless you've got a valid reason!:) Others, just report as per normal. Studio 2 is available at 7pm. Muse practice dates and time: REMINDER: MUSE practice is of everyday at E4, 5:30-8:30pm. On Tuesday/Friday, lesson starts at 5pm as per normal. Tuesday: those NOT in BBOY MUSE, please proceed to E4 to practice Hiphop items Friday: those NOT in Hiphop MUSE, please proceed to E4 to practice Bboy items Full run dates: Wednesday 20th Oct, there will be a FULL DRESS REHEARSAL. Full dress = bring all needed costumes, unless those costumes have not buy yet. Timing will be updated to you tomorrow (Tuesday) Friday 22th Oct, there will be a FULL DRESS REHEARSAL WITH ZAINI. Meeting regarding Danzation 2011 + New shirt money + MUSE tickets
Danzation: We are invited to perform and collaborate with NRA at their dance performance, Danzation, next year 7th and 8th Jan!! Danzation is a 2 year 1 time event, and it is their big production!! I've collected all the details about Danzation, and I will have to meet everyone at Studio 1 tomorrow (friday), 5pm and update everyone about it! Right after meeting, MUSE practice as per normal! New shirt money: Please! pass $20 to Fara tomorrow (friday). No payment no shirt!! Last day to purchase!! If not buying, let Fara know asap. Muse practice + Muse tickets/payment
Muse practice dates and time: As Muse is nearing, practice will be of everyday, starting from tomorrow (Thursday 14th Oct) onwards. Practice strictly starts at 5:30pm to 8:30pm at E4. Also, Tuesday & Friday starts at 5pm as usual at studio. Muse ticketing/payment: We will be collecting all order and payments by this Friday. Everyone is supposed to sell 5 tickets each. Muse preview
Just a reminder that tomorrow will be the MUSE preview . Everyone is to report at E4 at 12pm sharp for practise. Please do not be late as Melissa and Larry will be there with us . Larry wants to see all the people who is involve in bboy/bgirl item at 2pm. Please do report earlier for self practises , thank you! There will be practise from Wednesday onwards from 12pm to night.
