 Welcome to Style Groovaz Crew's page! Click on the buttons to navigate the website The Family  Republic Polytechnic’s Hip Hop IG is made up of Republicans who share a common passion for Hip Hop Dance. Be it B-boying (also known as Break-Dancing) or hip hop dance moves, the IG has wowed the school with a wide range of dance moves since 2004. What sets the IG apart from the other dance crews is its primary focus on B-boying. The IG hopes to offer opportunities for passionate individuals who put in their best shot for what they believe in. 1. Zaini's choreography workshops - Need at least 5 people to go for this workshop! If you are interested, please inform me straight! - The workshop will be conducted every Monday and Thursday (starting from today) 7pm-9pm in dance studio 1 - Current interested members: Zhongwen, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. YOG performance - Details of Hip Hop’s Performance: Date: 22nd August, Sunday Duration: TBC Time: 5-7PM, TBC Venue:TBC - Excluding those who say and inform they can't perform for YOG, we now have 18 dancers. If you can't make it for YOG, let me know before Sunday,27th June. Asia Pacific Tchoukball Championships 2010 performance - Events details: Singapore will be hosting the 4th edition of the Asia Pacific Tchoukball Championships 2010. This edition promises to be the biggest yet, with teams from defending champion Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Macao, Philippines, Pakistan, India and UAE participating in various categories. - Invitation: The Organisers of the Asia Pacific Tchoukball Championships 2010 would like to extend their invitation to Hip Hop in performing for their Gala Dinner on 11 July, Sunday. - In summary: As you can tell from the title of the Competition, it consists of an international audience and it would be a great opportunity for RP Hip Hop to foster international relations. - Details of Hip Hop’s Performance: Date: 11 July, Sunday Duration: 10mins Time: Between 7.30pm and 8.30pm Venue: RP Agora Hall - Current dancers involved: Joann, Ragu, Ferra, Cherie Wee, Faizal, Fara, Jonathan, Shark, Muz, Natalie, Kaiying, Sajuto, Sanjit, Kelvin Soh, Kian Fai, Raizal, Aisyah - Person in charge of this even + contact person: - Probably using Momentum + choreography since it's 10mins performance?? Bobby Mileage: Bobby's class is this Thursday at Natasha Studio, however, timing has been changed to 8:30pm instead. And those who hasn't give the $35, please pass it to Sanjit on Wednesday! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alot of events to perform and competitions lining up this month onwards! But I'll post the most urgent ones that we need a confirmation of who is interested to join, especially the competitions!! We're invited to perform on several events so I need your confirmation of whether you're able to make it! (mostly juniors seniors alumni involved) There are some missing details about the event which I'll update here again! I just need names now! :D Performance: 1. Zaini is conducting choreography workshops every Mondays and Thursdays, 7pm to 9pm. If interested, please send in your names latest by tomorrow Tuesday 10pm. Last lesson is on 8th July. Urgent!!
Tomorrow, I will be collecting the receipts for costumes that we bought for Momentum. I also will be collecting $45 from people who want the jackets. Please bring them tomorrow before lessons. Glitz Award. I still need at least 10 more dancers for Glitz award. Please send in your names to me ASAP. This is quite urgent. **new update** Juniors involved in Glitz (including Bboys) are excused for Larry's lesson. Meet at E4, 5pm. Those with UT come afterwards.
