Click on the buttons to navigate the website The Family  Republic Polytechnic’s Hip Hop IG is made up of Republicans who share a common passion for Hip Hop Dance. Be it B-boying (also known as Break-Dancing) or hip hop dance moves, the IG has wowed the school with a wide range of dance moves since 2004. What sets the IG apart from the other dance crews is its primary focus on B-boying. The IG hopes to offer opportunities for passionate individuals who put in their best shot for what they believe in. Actual dates on Reflection Practice + UPDATE
1) Reflection Opening Practice will be on every Wed and Fri, 2pm onwards. Abang will be conducting the practice! NEW INFO!
Hello all, sorry, there's a mistake in the previous announcement I made. All who are not involved in the Reflections'09 item, it is still compulsory to attend normal classes on Tuesdays(bboying) and Fridays (dance classes). Thank you! Joann. Reflections Opening PRACTICES
This is to the Selected Freshies who are involved in Reflections Opening, the 6-min chero dance, there will be practices starting from Tuesday onwards. Exact days for practices will be updated to you again. Anyway, any other Freshies (not selected ones) who are interested to join in the practice, please feel free to come because we MIGHT be taking in more Freshies to dance for the opening (but this is yet to confirm), so why not just learn something new, YES??? :)) I've uploaded the Selected Freshies, in case you didn't get to see the previous post. PREVIEW DATES As following are important dates for all of the Reflections '09 performers to take note. Please ensure that all of you are available on that day fo' the previews, anyone who is unable to make it, please kindly let Ragu know beforehand.  CHANGE IN LOCATION & PRACTICE TIMES Please be informed that as of 29th Sep till 3rd Nov on every Tuesday; class location will be as of follows. (for BBOY) Normal class 5-7pm, Studio 1. Reflections Practice 7-9pm, Studio 2. Bboy item: Every Tuesday 5 - 9pm. Hiphop item: Every Weds 8 - 10pm & Fri 5 - 9pm. Fo' people that are not involved in both bboying & dance items of reflections, Ragu has given the green light fo' you all to stop coming fo' classes tentatively. To all Freshies. please take note.
Your Debut dance items has been pushed back to a later date. I will tell you all the new time table again tomorrow as the old one is being revised. We hope that the later date can help you guys prepare more for your showcase, in terms of costumes and standards. The next photo shoot will be with costumes as you guys have more time to prepare them by then. Meet me at at studio 1 at 4.45pm. I will brief you guys on the new schedule and also answer any questions you may have. Help spread word to all your team members even though i have already told your groups respective leaders. Certain things to take note:
This is the proper information of the new committee which has taken over as of 09/09/09. Publicity Manager / Webmaster are people who are in charge of the IG’s blog. To update any information that needs to be passed down to the rest of the IG members. They also do the publicising of competitions and events. We have 4 of them for this post as these are the 4 who have the Blog’s password. We have 3 costume managers because Cherie is currently injured. Hence, we have Yau Min to stand in for her till she recovers. Table below shows your new commitee members and is the latest information we have of them as of to date.

Photoshoot on Tuesday, 15th Sept
A message from Naz: Please be ready with your costumes and make-ups(optional) by 2pm sharp on Tuesday, 15th Sept so we can end earlier to avoid taking up bboy time. Photoshoot will be outdoor around school area, and if studio is open you can leave your belongings inside so the mentors can look after for you. ANNOUNCEMENT! All committee members & dance captains are to have a meeting with Zaini this coming Weds, 9th Sep. 3pm in his TRCC office. Everyone is expected to attend; anyone who is unable to do so, please send Ragu a proper SMS/email with your name and reason for absence. THANKS.
