Click on the buttons to navigate the website The Family  Republic Polytechnic’s Hip Hop IG is made up of Republicans who share a common passion for Hip Hop Dance. Be it B-boying (also known as Break-Dancing) or hip hop dance moves, the IG has wowed the school with a wide range of dance moves since 2004. What sets the IG apart from the other dance crews is its primary focus on B-boying. The IG hopes to offer opportunities for passionate individuals who put in their best shot for what they believe in. Details of Sentosa Trip.
Fo' our outing on Monday. Everyone to meet 8.30am at Harbourfront MRT station. Please be smart, it's a trip to d beach, beachwear please! If you're coming, let someone know so that we won't leave without you if you're late. To make this as successful as possible, please, whoever with the following items, I need your help in bringing it.
Food wise, currently there are sponsors fo' some of it, but we need more people to help out!
Other than the above mentions, of course not forgetting our individual belongings.
It's everybody's effort in making things fun & enjoyable okay. I hope everyone play a part and help in our massive pinic while we listen to some slow songs before we break into balls of energy & play in d sun! A reminder to all, before we purchase any products, please check fo' d halal sign. =) In case of wet weather, we'll all head to Vivo's rooftop, d part where there's shelter of course. We'll still carry on with our pinic there and slow songs playing in the background. Once we're done with it, if there's still sky juice, we'll then watch a movie or play some bowling. Else, we'll go to Sentosa still! Please kindly tag what you offer to bring on the board, be it edible or non-edible so we'll all have a rough idea what to expect. Crew Outing.
As a lot of you have asked, the long awaited IG outing will be scheduled on 29th Dec, Monday.Venue will be to Sentosa as planned earlier. It'll be a whole day event, even tho' the meeting time isn't fixed yet. In case of wet weather, the backup plan will be that we'll all go catch a boring movie at Vivo City. Fo' all those who's interested in joining this outing, please let me know via MSN/SMS or tag 'IM IN!' at the board before this Friday. Christmas 2008
 Groovaz, Hiphop IG had been invited to the Christmas event at Ngee Ann City 2008. -Details of Event- Date; 20th Dec '08. (SAT) Who; People who are interested, please get back to me/Abang by Friday, 12th Dec '08. Time; Late evening, around 7 plus. (To be confirmed) We will be reusing one of our MUSE/Closing Bash item, and we will be coughing out a 4-5mins' routine to any 'funky Christmas song.' *ALL DANCERS TO WEAR RED, WHITE AND GREEN. Those who are not performing fo' Danzation are strongly urged to join this event in the name of share, care, love & joy. =) P.S. Danceworks '09.
Participation; I've heard some people mentioning that they wish to pull out of the competition, I'll respect your decision. But please remember, you're still in the run as long as you didn't tell me personally with a valid reason. It is, afterall something compulsory supposedly. And, those who wish to join the competition, or if you're having doubts as to if you should join, come speak to me on Tuesday aight! I promise it's gonna be a fantastic journey. Group discussions; Both teams, I hope you guys remember about what you all have to tell us on Tuesday aight! As sort of a checklist, the least we want would be: - Group name - Rough concepts - Genres of dance - TSHIRT DESIGN IDEAS Seniors; While some of us are busy with other things, the rest who are able to join Danceworks, do let me know as well. I'll collate a list of us, and then more details will be given out on a later date. And to serve as a reminder to all, Do not forget about the Elections that's coming this Wednesday! Danzation; People involved in Danzation, whichever genre, please gather after school on Friday and head down to Ngee Ann poly fo' your practice. Meet in dance studio 1 after school and proceed to NP from there on. Sorry! EDITED; DANCERS FO' D DANCE SEGMENT ONLY. BBOYS AND BGIRLS NEED NOT B PRESENT. =) Danceworks!; Thank you all fo' your participation, any other dancers out there who are still keen to join? Speak to me personally with a valid reason why you didn't turn up fo' d auditions and I'll take it a case-by-case basis. Groupings will be updated by d end of this week, do keep checking!
