Click on the buttons to navigate the website The Family  Republic Polytechnic’s Hip Hop IG is made up of Republicans who share a common passion for Hip Hop Dance. Be it B-boying (also known as Break-Dancing) or hip hop dance moves, the IG has wowed the school with a wide range of dance moves since 2004. What sets the IG apart from the other dance crews is its primary focus on B-boying. The IG hopes to offer opportunities for passionate individuals who put in their best shot for what they believe in. First things first, fo' d practice timing on Thursday, 30th October will be 2pm at E4. Late comers will be dealt with this time, no escaping. =) Fo' each individual items, do take note of the shirts y'all are supposed to be wearing fo' d preview this friday, 31st October. Falling Out; White T-shirt (No collar, with prints or not.) Locking Items (Jerv's and Colin's); Lockers' Shirt & Accessories. Bboying/Bgirling (Simpler and Advance); Light blue top, says Jason. Juniors' Finale; Wear selected color. EVERYONE; Knee length bottoms (white/ close to white colors encouraged), And shoes with 70% white parts. [Encouraged means, if you don't have THAT color, wear other colors, common sense encouraged too!] *Note, costumes fo' 'Falling Out' and all pants are on the way. The costumes stated above are to tight over the preview this Friday first. =) And fo' items not stated, you're to wear what you're wearing fo' your nearest other item. As you all know this friday 31-10-2008 is our FULL DRESS REHEARSAL, we need slot plans for wednesday 29-10-2008 so that progress can be optimised^_^ 12.30-2pm(the extra slot for lockers,be it locking item or finale locking-Forest) 2-4pm(GRAND FINALE) 4-5pm(Lockers-Forest) 5-6pm(Juniors item -Hakim) 6-8pm(Falling out-Ain) *please understand that no slot plans were stated in the latest schedule thus no baiseness of slot allocation are present here and that all these slots are booked by the members stated above on a 1st come 1st serves basis. Reflections 2008 - MUSE
After their successful showcase of Momentum 2008 (1st RP’s Dance Festival in May), RP Dance Groups namely Hip Hop, Indian Cultural Group, Malay Cultural Group, Modern Dance and Social Dance, together with respected dance makers return to inspire their fans and new audiences with their new works – MUSE. Come experience what inspires them!  There are still tickets left but I can't assure you the best seats. What matters the most is for people to watch us! DANCERS.
WE gotta buck up a real lot and give a good show! Better than d Juniors Debut, better than Momentum. WE can do it dancers! But before WE can achieve anything, WE need to work together as a whole. The least WE can do is to get things done when told, and attend each session. Let's see what WE need to do now; 1. Submit your pants size if you havent done it already! You don't really wanna go BOTTOMLESS do you? 2. Sell those pieces of paper at $10 each! Zaini has been pressing us so much. I really, really do not like to hear him nagging, THANK YOU. 3. Pass the $20 T-shirt & IG fund money to Jason by Friday. Do not forget your shirt sizes too! 4. People who are keen in going fo' SP Waves, meet me at E4, 5pm after school on monday. 5. As I said, there will be practices DAILY from 5pm onwards. E4 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Dance Studio on Tuesdays and Fridays. Regarding the confusion, YES, you need to attend Tuesdays even if you're not in a BBOY item as what the calendar says. SO, NO MORE EXCUSES, IM EXPECTING TO SEE EVERYONE EVERYDAY! =) Just 5 simple things to do. I'm sure you wonderful people are able to do it well. Please don't disappoint me. Hari Raya Outing 08'
As you all know we are planning to have a Hari Raya Outing on the 18th October, Saturday. Everyone's welcome! So we need your co-operation on this. By Thursday, all this necessary information has to be settled. 1) Inform Asraf whether you're coming. 2) Those who need to borrow baju kurong, inform your borrower. 3) Whether your house is open for visiting? 4) Where your house is located? 5) What time your house can be visited? 6) Buses to your house. Holla SGC Fam! Thanks for your cooperation to those who have paid for MUSE tickets. To those who have yet to make your reservation and yet to pay please do so as soon as possible. I'm sure you do not want to miss the best seats which is quite selling fast right now. Email me through 73394@myrp.sg to make the reservation for tickets. The earlier you pay for the tickets the better the seats you get. It would not be nice for me to haunt you down to pay up. So, please cooperate with me. WE WON!
 Remember the dance comp at Bukit Panjang Plaza about a week ago?WE WON!  Yea, no joke about it. True that we didn't take part. So it's kinda impossible fo' us to win anything right? NO.
